It would ideal, if the Offizin Haag-Drugulin in Dresden could be saved. It is a small Letterpress printing office with a very large amount of equipment. It dates back to the 1820s and has a great deal of foundry type. I shared my first impressions with SEdit, the structure editor of Medley Interlisp. I picked up structure editing faster than expected and now it feels second nature.

I've done a lot of newspaper research, but up to now via traditional methods (i.e. going through page by page) combined with word searches in digitised collections. This excellent article gives some great insight into more powerful options for using historical newspapers.
