@zleap A new Democratic president would face opposition in the Senate as you mentioned, bringing to mind the fierce opposition the Republicans put up against anything Obama proposed.
But Bernie is no longer a candidate for nomination, he withdrew from the race so it's Joe Biden that likely gets the nomination.
Unless something unexpected happens.

@design_RG It seems the US people need something to fall back on so everyone can afford healthcare.
@design_RG Sometimes it takes a crisis like what we are in now to bring about change.
@zleap They need to get over the pressure of the health industry, insurance companies, lobbyists and get a publicly funded, single payer health system like most other advanced countries in the OECD.
Difficult, as there's so much money flowing and strong interest in keeping things like they are. But there's always hope.
