I feel it is important to share this, as it highlights where things could be going with Facebook
How can we counter some of this
@lucifargundam Well easier said than done. A lot of people use facebook and are very tied in to it, as are their friends.
I think we need to give people a good reason to be here.
FOMO or Fear of Missing Out, what we perhaps need is something on the fedi (even if linked to other services e.g IRC), that is not on centralised social media, that makes people want to join.
@zleap So... It's the opposite of the fediverse with Facebook in control. What could go wrong?
