Why do US people not know their own history?
Before folks ask, "Why was I not taught this in school?!" Look at what DeSantis is doing to AP history in Florida. You know exactly why you weren't taught this in school. Because it's easier to get you to accept mistreatment of Black people, if you don't know white American history.

A: Because for most of US history, white folk have *intentionally* destroyed the wealthiest Black neighborhoods in the US and stolen all the wealth.

I think this could be a very dangerous move, planes have a longer range, there is going to be a temptation to attack russia internally, crossing the border would risk a serious escalation of the current situation.
This is so fast moving it is terrifying, imagine if the republicans win in 2024 we would see all remaining states come under this, probably very quickly.

Introduction to microscopy analysis techniques - anyone have recommendations of resources?
ie How to read a cell not a blob, and the common analysis approaches.
Ideally vignette style with concrete examples (but definitely not video/audio).
My background is transcriptomics/single cell but the with the wave of new spatially resolved technologies it's time to learn to move beyond that!
