Video from protest today against Turkey's state-terror against the population of the self-liberated North and East Syria, in the Şehba area of the attacked areas.

Also, a statement from the antifascist feminist militia "Women's Defense Units" (YPJ):
"The attacks carried out by the occupying fascist Turkish state are a result of a common policy of hegemonic powers.
Today, in front of the entire world, the revolution of freedom, which has become the hope of the people, is subjected to attacks contrary to laws.
These attacks by the Turkish state primarily target areas such as oil, services, factories, and the service infrastructure of the region. Our citizens have been martyred in these brutal attacks aimed at annihilating the peoples in the region."

It seems neither Israel or Washington are listening over this.

Hopefully history will be the judge

After Substack's decision to platform Nazis, I deleted my newsletter and my account and made a clean break.

I'm now publishing my work on tech, economics and humans on a platform I control.

In a year where I've already lost 30,000 followers by deleting Twitter, this is a tough one.

Unless my paid subscribers resubscribe, I'm down $500 ARR and paying $400 in hosting fees.

But it's worth it to stand by my values.

When York Minster caught fire in the 1984, it was rebuilt, the boses (which were the wooden carvings I think) that formed part of the celing structure were designed by views of the BBC TV programme Blue Peter.

Vandalism’: Outcry over plans to replace Notre Dame Cathedral’s chapel windows - theguardian.com/world/2023/dec "Thousands sign petition challenging Macron-backed restoration that would add contemporary design to building"

Why don't they know the rules, sack the lot of em immediatly.

Home Office officials didn’t know the rules, lawyers didn’t know the rules…and ultimately there was a tiny loophole based on the subjective opinion of the government (would love to see the ethnicity and income of folks allowed through the eye of this needle).

This isn’t how to operate a fair and transparent system for citizenship in this country.

During her youth Ada Lovelace was introduced to the Scot, Mary Somerville, who was known as the ‘Queen of 19th Century Science’ and was in fact the first woman to be accepted into the Royal Astronomical Society. Mary further encouraged Ada’s mathematical and technological development. It was actually through Mary Somerville that Ada first heard of Charles Babbage’s idea for a new calculating engine. 5/ via @historicuk

IIRC the last time it needed fixing, the maintainer needed a new computer in order to do so, hopefully the situation has changed so he / she can keep it maintained.

THe problem is, his followers and minions will believe Trump is immune, come what may. So when justice finally catches up with him, he will maintain that narrative and probably tell them either rise up against the system or they will be next as the system is so against them. There seems to be a good few GOP politicians who will still be running and their first order would be to pardon trump.

The world is heading to a very dangerous place.

COME ON AMERICA, BLOODY WAKE UP!!!!
