Agreed, I don't think there are unskilled jobs, as a janitor you need to pay attention to detail, understand health and safety, chemicals (COSHH) manual handling.
All jobs require some degree of skill, surely.
But yes, a lot of people are simply not valued,
I can't remember my generation being told we were special, we did learn to play sport, and that we win and lose games etc.
Some kids today are told they are special and think they are entitled.
Ah, that could explain it then.
