For less than the price of a 🍕pizza🍕 , you can get my book—paperback or e-book—about REMOTE WORK!

I highly highly encourage anyone in management or anyone who hopes to one day manage people to pick it up.

It is filled with specific, actionable tips, not wishy-washy stuff!

I can see why, they hit a nerve with people so they can relate to the issue and provide a seemingly perfect solution

@Loukas

It is the scene where Indiana, Willy and Short round approach pankok palace, during the conversation which turns to the history of the palance, jones says he is interested in what happend further back to the time of Clive (up to now I thought he said clide)

The conversation may have been while they were at dinner, but it was during that part of the movie at least.

Aside from getting a campaign togeher, perhaps get a list of books that are being removed, then see if we can find copies somewhere, either cheap or from other online bookshops, project Gutenberg and others.

If we can then get those books out to people that want to read them.

@GossiTheDog

Ofcom have the power, they are still apparently doing a consultation, forget the consultation and just TELL social media companies the new rules and FINE THEM, oh and ring fence some of that money so admins on Fedi can be given decent support to do the job properly and train more people to be moderators and give people the tools to help them.

@GossiTheDog

Prisons are now approaching (or have reached ) capacity so they won't be able to put people in prison, people know this so may start up riots knowing they will not go to prison for it.

@GossiTheDog

When he gets out of prison and has to update his CV he will need to disclose work history, so will this include being paid by X to type racially emotive content?

One of the people jailed in the UK who posted material on Twitter to stir up racial hatred during recent unrest across the UK is being paid £1700 a month by X.

X - who can’t pay their office rent and other bills - led by Musk, who said there would be civil war in the UK, is literally paying the people who are trying to start civil war.

@NormanDunbar @christineburns

I have seen a good few of those, they look very polished and try to convince me this product is groundbreaking and that people in big industry don't want me to know about it.

Calling for a ceasefire while supplying arms.
Naming climate goals while extracting oil.
Declaring war on cancer while allowing novel chemicals & plastics in food, water and air.
Spending billions on vaccine against a global infectious disease but not sharing it.

@europesays

I vaguely remember back in the 80s watching something where they took a piece of plastic the same size as a credit card and stuck some magnetic tape (from a vcr tape) to it, then managed to do something and used it in an ATM, this was way before the days of RFID and similar.

I can't quiet remember what happened as it was early 80s.

@saddestrobots @HeavenlyPossum

The same has happened here,. In the UK, the tide is very slowly turning.
