I'm amazed that there has been zero coverage of this:
EU's new Product Liability Directive got voted through last thursday.
No later than two years from now, software, stand-alone, cloud or embedded are subject to "no-fault liability" (ie: doesn't matter how or why, only that it is defective.)

Apparently the word was used as part of a rehersal and didn't make it in to the final performance.
Surely her family or those who own the music rights should have a say in how this music is used and take action if it is being used in such a way it has a negative impact on the person or persons who wrote the music. We have seen artitsts do this and got people to stop using it.

Israeli occupation soldiers shot and killed a 17-year-old Palestinian boy as he was running away as they advanced in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
Rayan Ibrahim Al-Sayed was shot in the back of the head and died as a result of his wounds.
Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said another Palestinian, Mahmoud Abu Al-Rab, was also killed after being shot by the occupation forces in the Sibat neighbourhood in Jenin.

So what was their reasoning for this ? Shooting unarmed children. At least he died instantly (hopefully) and didn't burn to death like others have at the hands of IDF murderers.

Maybe one of the attemps to kill trump may actually work. I am NOT advocating assassinating Trump, but 3 attemps so far in a country obsessed with guns, where young children can attend gun meets and hit the target and so far 3 people have failed to hit trump with a bullet despite him being a good size target.
One question the guy who did this at the golf course was arrested (IIRC) so where is he, what is HIS story and or motivation?
Everything about Taump is a media circus, even the trials he went though and the way he treated the judicary (which would get everyone else thrown in to jail, for doing the same thing). I am concerened for the west, esp as Trump wants to rip up NATO or the foundations that have kept the west safe for decades.
I can see what you describe here as happening, Harris win, and then Trump tries to say it was stolen (or in his words Stollen) so he can somehow seize control. The US people let it happen as what Fox or Social media says must he the Truth, the whole truth and nothing BUT the truth.
By the time those US people realise what has happened it will be too late.
Those of us who could see it coming will end up in hiding with the thought of 'Told you so'.

I feel like Western countries are so far removed from fascism, coddled by modern society's comforts, and lucky enough to have avoided war on their soil, that the populations therein have legitimately forgotten what it's like to live in a world without democracy.
We take everything for granted. We forget that the ease with which we move through life is dependent upon complicated governmental/cultural/social/economic systems, which people before us spent entire generations developing so that we may bear their fruit.
Instead of honoring this gift with awareness and humility, we accept it as something inherent to our reality, unaware of the fact that it needs to be continually maintained, protected, and iterated upon.
Other than the Civil War, the US has never really had war on its on soil, however Europe has, many who lived through WWII are either very old or have already passed away. Europe has war in Ukraine but had conflict in the Balkans within living memory (early 90s)
So other than 9/11, the US has never really had mass casualties on home soil ( mass shootings aside ) but the US and the west just inflict this on others, either directly or by supplying weapons, not sure if we can call Israel (under recent regimes) as a proxy to the US, in a similar way we call Hezbola or Hamas proxies to the US.
I thought that was Harold Ramis for a second, he played Egon Spengler in Ghostbusters.
