The murder of Gazans and Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank is totally unacceptable, and war crimes, however the murder of citizens of otehr countries e.g the EU should be an act of war by those countries. We need to declare the IDF a terror group and sanction every member.
When the decide to return to their home countries and families they should face arrest at the airport, detention and deportation to the Hague, then prison and a massive fine etc for what they have done, they are ALL guilty either directly or by association.
From the BBC reporting on this, the shooters social media accounts were full of violent and extreme content, so perhaps the investigation should, I dunno focus on social media platforms and the execs who run these platforms.

Wildfires in Europe are becoming more frequent, more intense, and lasting longer.
Between 8 and 25 August, wildfires burned nearly 600,000 hectares in Portugal and Spain alone – a land area over twice the size of Luxembourg.
We thank 🇨🇿🇩🇪🇫🇮🇫🇷🇬🇷🇮🇹🇲🇹🇳🇱🇷🇴🇸🇪🇸🇰 for supporting Portugal and Spain in their fight against the wildfires that affected both countries.
We are working hard to anticipate risks and strengthen preparedness.
The EU is getting ready for anything, anywhere, anytime.

There is a big difference between Chatbots and actual intelligence.
An example.
If you asked a Historian a question about Physics, while they may give you an opinion they would know when their knowledge is insufficient to give a reliable answer, and would tell you so.
If you asked them a question about History not only would they give you a reliable answer, they would assess your understanding of the question to provide an answer you can understand.
They would also know what they don't know and tell you so, and then tell you where to go for a good answer.
Asking a Chatbot is like asking the loudmouth stranger in the pub, regurgitating something they overheard once from someone's mate.
They speak with confidence on subjects they have no expertise in, and they don't know what they don't know.
I think the ssl suite of tools is an example of an essential componetn of the internet, that when it goes wrong ends up being 1 person maintaining it.
I think the issue was heart bleed or something, I can't remember but I am sure it was just one person.
We can't as that would cross a red line and give Russia an excuse to attack NATO, which as far as I understand is a defensive alliance. We can't get our military invovled but we can arm and train Ukraine.
We can only do so much, but what we NEED to be doing is boosting our own defensive capability to deter Putin from even thinking about attacking you.
But I suspect you already know that,
My analogy is like this.
Imagine the school bully hitting you weekly for a whole academic year, do you spend the summer collecting feathers to hit back, doing nothing or Learning self defense or some for of martial arts, so when the bully tries to hit you, not only are you ready but defend your self and send a clear message you can and will do so.
What can do at the moment is also patrol the borders and scrambke quickly should an enemy unit attempt to come near to the border or encroach on our territory, I am trying to be careful here as it is not just with planes.
Tony Blair was also behind the ILLEGAL invasion of Iraq in 2003, if there was justice in the world he would currently be in a prison having been charged with war crimes.
@atomicpoet I agree with this and why I like it here, we can post our thoughts what we get back is generally positive, but also civilised even if people don't agree with us.

That’s why I make it a point to document the things I love and care about here—games, music, tech, retro finds, fitness logs, all of it. Because at the end of the day, these are the human things that give the network any meaning.
If all we ever talk about is ActivityPub specs, moderation drama, or which server just forked which, then the Fediverse becomes a closed loop—a tech cult mumbling to itself. That’s not culture. That’s maintenance.
The real value is when people bring their lives here. When you scroll and see what others are passionate about—what they’re creating, playing, collecting, cooking, lifting, or rediscovering. That’s when it stops being “just another platform” and starts being an archive of human experience.
So yeah, I post my stuff. Not because I think the world desperately needs another hot take on cassette tapes or Sega Saturn imports. But because documenting what we care about is what makes this place feel alive.
Because in the end, it’s not about the network. It’s about the people who make it worth networking.
