I have seen oil cooled computers, so if his was the right type of oil you could have a Linux kernel running on a CPU using Kernel cooling Oil.

The Mastodon community is growing by the minute. We ourselves have seen a massive influx of followers these last few months.

How likely is it that you will still be on #Mastodon next year?

This sort of thing is rather scary, as it seems to take opinion as fact, fact as opinion and such things can lead to all manner of mis understandings, that can lead to a whole host of consequences from Lawsuits, arrest, job loss, over something that never actually happened.

We need to pause AI so this issue can be sorted out, and the AI has some sort of safeguard for critical thinking built in so sources are also checked out.

@rbreich

While this is welcome, surely it is also a good idea to find out what happened and why and put in measures, including funding to ensure it does not happen again.

BREAKING: The U.S. Justice Department has sued Norfolk Southern, accusing the rail giant of "unlawfully polluting the nation’s waterways" in last month's derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, and demanding it pay "all past and future costs" for cleanup and recovery.

#TDoV remember trans men and non-binary folks as they get too little visibility. Most public attention (mostly the negative) is directed at trans women. Trans men and trans boys are erased most of the time, misgendered even more. Both groups are taken less serious by the general public.

I don't know what hurts more - being painted as a super villain or your identity coopted and warped and maliciously misconstrued as something you need to be saved from by your enemies.

I stand with my #TransMasc and #NonBinary siblings.

Cis allies: please remember us all when you talk about trans rights with others.

On #TransDayOfVisibility, let's have more visibility of who's behind the anti-trans movement.

Groups like Alliance Defending Freedom are waging a multimillion-dollar campaign cruelly targeting trans people.

These groups don't care about freedom — they just want to spread hate.

@ProPublica

I am sure the UK banned it decades ago, we have strict rules on this now due to how dangerous it is.

@IChewPorridge In a certain interpretation of the multiverse theory, when you die, the universe splits in two: one where you died and one where you (perhaps miraculously) didn't. In other words, there is always a universe in which you didn't die, and so "you" will actually never die.

(This theory may be crazy, but I consider it less crazy than the idea of any kind of Heaven. I'm pretty sure dead is dead and that's it.)

@Tilopa@convo.casa

I am sure in the UK if a defendant (or anyone involved) mentions anything about a live court case out side of court it would be considered CONTEMPT OF COURT.

To quote Mozilla Foundation's Mark Surman:

"The internet was built by people FOR people, and it's the people using the internet who should determine its future, not a few powerful organizations."

On behalf of everyone here at #Thunderbird, thank you to anyone past and present at Mozilla who's helped make the internet a better, safer place.
