@patamystic It may be understandable, but if the goal is to bring about change and justice, outrage is never rational or reasonable. If the goal is to get a quick hit of adrenaline or dopamine, then rage away. If the goal is to understand what is going on and develop strategies to improve things, rage is just going to get in the way.

@KFuentesGeorge I truly mean this: It does not matter if Hamas has executed LGBT people before, when it comes to their right to freedom. I do not fantasize about taking away the liberty of my oppressors, and I do not relish it when an oppressor is oppressed. This poisonous belief that human rights are conditional is what gets us into these situations, time and time again. The consequence of brutality can never be more brutality.

Our community got together and planted a feijoa, an orange and a plum tree in the park across the road.

Now, someone has come and stolen 2 of the trees.
