If Reddit's management weren't thick as a brick they'd have dealt with their third-party app "problem" by buying up the top ten third party apps (eg. Apollo), removing the ad-blocking, but giving it back to moderators.

That's how Amazon handled rival online discount/second-hand bookstores, eg. Book Depository and AbeBooks.

And if you’re in media and calling them “militias”, but refer to Daesh, ISIS, Al-Qaida, or the Taliban as “terrorists”, you should really think about why that is and the bias that you’re internalizing in your work.

@zleap it can often take a surprisingly long time for modern EPOS to reboot and connect to the servers, and the IT support is often outsourced to faraway places, added to which retailers do not like their staff knowing too much about how the EPOS works as they don't trust them (its why its very difficult for someone well educated/qualified to get a retail job, the bosses think you are planning to rob the place)
