In my town of Berkeley, CA, the public library has a branch that lends only tools. Hammers and screwdrivers, yeah, but concrete mixers? Monster masonry drills? Electric demolition hammers? They got 'em!

About once a decade, I need to sink a posthole. I always borrow the postholer and digging rod from the library and do a much nicer job than my wife expects.

This is such a wonderful service. Plus I like to brag about my local public library!

@Alice@gram.social This TV always reminds me of my idea to open a cafe where there is a wall of TVs like this in different colors, all arranged nicely in a grid.

Each TV will be playing a VHS tape of something different but equally as weird and they'll all be assigned a number.

Kind of similar to a tabletop jukebox at a booth in a diner, each table will have a small drive-in theater speaker where you can tune into whichever TV you want to watch/hear, but where it will only be loud enough to project within the area of that table.
