Oh, that's a nice way to start the day. I have just found out my latest paper is published.

Probably not my greatest publication of all time: just a secondary analysis of a previously published study.

But still, nice to see it published.

WTF ... Even taking into account that the volume has >5000 pages. Btw., the library license is 8000, so it's not just a printed version.

One of my colleagues said his 13yo daughter started her period yesterday for the first time in her life.

My other colleague (45m) was horrified and didn't like hearing the word period.

So I talked about periods. And asked about periods. And explained about periods. And used the word period 7 or 8 times. This dude's got young daughters as well... Anyway.

Then we talked about Shark Week.
