@Sphinx @globcoco @hansw well, everyone in this topic, so far, is English as a second language speaker. We just hone and polish our skills, we all get better. Keep at it, Sphinx.

@design_RG

Thank you, sometimes I feel like I wish I can erase my memory about the Chinese language and fill in with English so my English could get better. i remember you can speak Spanish

@globcoco what's your first language if i can ask :)
@hansw correct me if I'm wrong you live in NL right?

@Sphinx

It is a radical cultural difference, from Chinese to all the European languages; making it more difficult to learn.

For us who speak one of the Euro languages, learning another is sometimes so much easier since they do have common inheritance, all the way back to Latin roots and words.

But Mandarin has a lot of History, Chinese culture goes back 5,000 years and that is something to be proud of.

I’m happy to see your view about Chinese language and culture. There are four tones for each word is a big challenge for beginners. and Cantonese used in Hong Kong and some areas in china mainland like Guangzhou. And traditional Chinese writing in Taiwan and Hong Kong
For your information😀
