I was thinking more about your idea of holding parents liable for their kids actions as a deterrant to scbool shootings
One big concern for that is, especially if applied more generally, would be a huge deterrant for parents to adopt problem children, which coukd have a devestating effect on how these kids grow up if all the most trouble prone kids never get adopted.
@freemo @realcaseyrollins In not sure. Because nobody really suspects that they are adopting a mass killer. It doesn’t matter how kind people are I don’t think they happily drive home with a kid who they suspect is a killer.

Well, here parents are liable for their (underage) kids' actions too. Not jailtime, but more like financial and justice consequences. You can bet that the parents will be more strict to the problem child then.

Financial.liability might make more sense, i woukd t support even that but its at least more reasonable.
