@thor It has pushed me further into contracting because I don't think I could keep my mouth shut if I had to be company property. Maybe it's a career path that leads to more questionable work but it's not the deeply wrong culture I've seen in corporations.

@thor People should be more direct with insults. Passive Aggressive behavior can disrupt productivity more than just being direct.

It would be ideal for people to not insult others and only offer constructive criticism. The moments in which that happens are priceless.

@thor It's likely of no consequence. Heavy metals are naturally occurring and we are likely exposed to some of them. If drugs like stimulants cause damage, does damage accurately describe the obliteration caused by the less horrifying of the oxidizers?

I just hear a propaganda machine trying to cause fear and control the public. The US tried that and they still do it. People buy into it and the government destroys more lives in their crusades against drugs than drugs ever could. They pay researchers to find evidence that supports their conclusions.

I enjoyed putting gasoline on fires and never got burned from it. I knew it was endothermic to transition to vapor phase and it took time for enough air to mix in to catch fire. The result was around a delay of approximately a second or two between adding 500ml of gasoline and the fireball that would erupt from the barrel.

I'm more environmentally conscious now and use better liquid fuels.

I feel rather dumb. I didn't know there were more desktop or server Microkernel OS than GNU/Herd and whatever Mac had with XNU or Mach or Darwin. There's a few but there's a reason why they aren't more popular.

I had a very odd thing happen recently, I mistakenly tried to boot a FSF approved Distro and it worked on a newer system. I don't understand how it had graphics or even booted. No closed source in it but it somehow booted with graphics. Arch Linux didn't do that. It was AMD, I still am in shock.

The Microkernel work is going rather well and perhaps it will be made available on some specific hardware after I get my hands on the hardware. For now I'm just playing around with the code.

There are existing Microkernels that are popular but I think I like this better. It's not my microkernel but it will be different than what it was. I have a weird idea and I don't know if I can get it to work.

If it works, I have performance and build quality estimates. Performance and build quality like a Lada or Yugo.

@thendrix The Taliban somehow managed to get weapons that were mistakenly left behind. It seems that they really enjoy them over the trash most other countries produce. They will want more and better equipment in the future. :3
