@snow @freemo I'm still in undergrad but I work in research for a professor. It's not my field but I was "recruited" into the research.

@snow In Science the first lesson we learned was how to respect the test animals. "Do no harm" was the way it was phrased. I don't see any real problem in eating test animals depending on what was done to them. It just seems like an added respect for the animals that would otherwise be euthanized.

@freemo I had to buy a charger capable of 5V 3A charging to even start development. My next step is going to be integrating additional hardware. Maybe the RISC-V camera I have would be a nice touch.

My Pinephone Braveheart was not destroyed in the EU! It was already treated as a hazardous material because of the battery. The device cleared Honk Kong Customs and Sweden Customs. I can't wait to get it in the US!

@snow @freemo Atropa Belladonna is Latin for "Pretty Woman." I saw your comment about mica and I have lived around and played with it since childhood. It could be regional differences but I only associate it with the presence of Quartz and Granite rock. I also associate it with salamanders due to the areas where I have found it.

I believe that the problem with the metals is that they have long been preferred for their beauty. The metallic pigments were prolific in art. What made the beautiful colors was the unique reactions that the elements were good at.

@freemo There are distributions of Linux like Alpine that can be booted from the micro sdcard. One good thing about All Winner SoCs is the fail safe mode and the ability to boot from sd card build into the SoC.
