@snow @freemo Shenzhen is the Open Hardware Capital of the world.
@arteteco Welcome to Academia!!!
@freemo I wonder how many people will go buy more toilet paper.
@freemo @snow Why reduce weight when you can gain weight in muscle?
@freemo As a Mathematician I see this as the coin toss problem to which there are three possibilities: heads,tails and landing on the edge. I refuse to accept any other opinions and proceed to argue my distorted reality into existence or bitter defeat. ;)
@snow @freemo @design_RG We just call them political parties.
@snow @freemo Intelligence is a term used to describe expectations and a reason for more severe punishment for not meeting the expectations.
@snow @freemo @design_RG The United States of America is not a pure Democracy. The USA is a Representative Democracy which uses an "electoral college" to elect The President. The popular vote is not really used for the actual election. From what I recall the popular vote is used to test how accurate the system of representation was. It's also able to be used in the case of a tie.
@freemo @snow This might be a reference to The Civil Rights Movement in the USA. Professor Xavier would be MLK and Magneto would be an early Malcolm X. In both cases the two schools of thought faced a foe that was instigated by the more militant group.
@freemo Many memories in this chart for me.
@freemo Plasma from a bolt of lightning is a very cool example. Triple points are also very cool.
@freemo It's difficult to find the complete source code ime. This is more difficult to develop for than I assumed it would be. I suppose I should try to get all the components working correctly.
It's still a very broken device on the software side. The hardware is not completely refined either. It seems that the company is planning on making a better phone in the near future. The A64 is built on a 40nm process, only supports a 5mp camera and seems to be limited to 3GB of ram.
It's the first development device I have ever owned and I'm one of 3000 people who have this honor so I suppose I should try to fix it as best as I can.
@snow @freemo I am a bachelor if that's what you are asking.
@snow This is quite worrisome indeed. The US has had similar problems with GMO agricultural products in the past. They weren't properly tested before being released and ended up poisoning susceptible people.
Back to the topic of discussion lol. I see the human gene carrying animals as the biggest threat personally. I don't think it's ethical for anyone other than the researchers to eat these animals. The animals would have been in observation for their entire lives.
@snow @freemo It did not occur to me that the "Pillar of Light" could have been the question. It's not very common in the US to call a professor this. The Pillar of Light is a title given to professors for illuminating the dark or ignorant world.
Toughbook fan, Mathematician and Locksmith with limited success in other areas.
Political stance is far right and far left. Proponent of First Aid Kits and PPE. Easily disheartened by big tech. Partially hinged personality and stubborn enough to not write this in the First Person.
Distrust of Psychology and a fan of satire. I love a good joke and contradict myself. Somewhat serious but easily distracted.
