I'm not really sure how to get started or what I'm doing but I'm here and looking forward to whatever comes.

@AutismFather Hi Stuart, we're glad your here.

It is generally a good idea to start with an post that includes a bit about your interests and has some that you like. Search other posts and start following people who seem to share similar interests.

@antares Good advice. I'll see what I can come up with. (Talking about myself is hard 😅 )
Thank you!

@AutismFather best to start following accounts. Once you get a feel of things work, then write an introduction post. Make sure to use plenty of hashtags, that is the main way to find accounts on here. Then don’t forget to update your profile description, where as well hashtags will help.

@barefootstache I guess hashtags are pretty important then… I’ll have to keep that in mind. Thank you for letting me know! And yes, I definitely need to check out some other people to follow.

@AutismFather the real power of the fediverse (where mastodon is a part of) is when you learn that you can follow accounts on different services like (YouTube alternative) or (Instagram alternative) etc. all from the convenience of this account.

@AutismFather AutCraft looks awesome! My kids are really into MineCraft and finding a good, family safe server's hard. You took it one, or more, steps beyond that. Very cool.

@BE Thank you! Yeah, it turned out to be pretty amazing... literally changing people's lives, including my own. The value of a good, solid community to feel safe and where you belong is invaluable.

@AutismFather Who are you? (I know who you are, but tell us about your role with AutCraft). Ask about authentication, because of issues you mentioned on the Bird Site.

I am so thrilled to see you here!

@AutismFather Hello! Lovely to see you here. It's all in the hashtags, plus you can make your first post an # introductions one so that people can discover and follow you!

Great to see you here, I only joined last night and so am just learning the place
