I don’t know who recently talked about our SMT garden soldering kit, but thank you! We’ve got a bunch of orders for it this week. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a kit designed to help you learn how to surface mount solder and get a lot of practice doing it! It features beautiful artwork designed by @Leeborg and you get to populate your flowers with the colors of your choice because we give you a lot of LEDs in the kit.

I've redesigned my 86mm Fibonacci128 to use SK9822-EC20 HDR addressable RGB LEDs! I have a small batch of four available, if anyone's interested.
These can be driven with a #PixelBlaze, but I don't have a fully-assembled option for that yet. Hopefully soon.

Video of a completed LED matrix pendant. Even though the matrix is shorter than the display surface, diffusion through the translucent cover spreads out the light over most of the front pendant face, for a nice effect.

Making some cheap and (relatively) easy LED matrix pendants using Lolin C3 mini boards flashed with WLED and soldered to (Lolin's) 8x8 RGB shield. I 3D printed cases with translucent lids and holes for the power wires to form the necklace "chain" that connects to a behind-the-neck battery holder.
