I think "remote power transmission" is just a secondary perk for something that was obviously developed to be a weapon... I don't think the science behind it could be scaled to powering cities...

Yes, sorry if it wasn't clear, but Tusky is the app that is guilty of an illegal advertising campaign and should be removed from the Google Playstore for violating truth in advertising laws.
People who write software like that should be ostracized and drummed out of the industry.
It disgusts me to think of how insidious their abuse of the userbase really is - it's criminal, to be sure, and they should be prosecuted.
