Harrison Ford finally weighs in: It’s ok to punch Nazis—Not only does Ford think it’s cool to punch Nazis, he thinks Indiana Jones would push people out of the way to get the first crack.

I don't know if this counts, but I made a Google form for a daily journal and mood check. Having it on my home screen makes it easier to remember to do it.
@freemo # 4 Ways to Stop #Procrastinating
#Procrastination is a common problem that can make it difficult to reach our goals and accomplish tasks. Fortunately, there are steps that we can take to make it easier to stay on track. Here are four ways to help you stop procrastinating.
First, set yourself up for success by breaking up large tasks into smaller, more manageable chunks. This will help you to stay focused and motivated, and make it easier to track your progress. It also helps to set realistic goals and reward yourself for meeting them.
Second, create a schedule and stick to it. Scheduling out your day and blocking off specific times for tasks can help to keep you on track and prevent procrastination. It is also important to make sure that you are taking regular breaks to avoid burnout.
Third, remove distractions. This can include anything from social media notifications to phone calls. By reducing the number of distractions, you'll be able to stay focused on the task at hand and avoid the temptation to procrastinate.
Finally, stay motivated. Procrastination can be a hard habit to break, so it is important to stay positive and remind yourself of why you are doing the task. If you find yourself getting overwhelmed, take a step back and remember why you are doing the task in the first place.
By following these steps, you can help to reduce procrastination and stay on track towards achieving your goals. With a little bit of effort and dedication, you can make it easier to stay focused and stay motivated.
The New York Times' relentless normalization of sociopaths has reached a peak.
"In the U.S., Sam Bankman-Fried is persona non grata. But in interviews across the Bahamas, residents say that his crimes were hardly comparable to the gang violence of the island, and expressed fears of economic fallout if crypto investors don't return."
This is NOT from the Onion, though it should be.

Amazing isn't it? Millions of people in Texas are without power and all their MAGA hatting governor can think of to do is to trick 100 migrants into taking a 22 hour bus ride to be dropped off outside Kamala Harris's house in freezing weather wearing T-Shirts.
If you think this is smart politics or owning the libs or good in any sort of way, then you are dead inside. I don't want to know you professionally or personally.
Trump has turned the GOP nomination race into a contest in which the candidates all try to show how evil they are.
@bookstodon Kate Atkinson’s God in Ruins has introduced me to the concept of a growlery - “a place to retreat to, alone, when ill-humoured“ - just in time for Christmas with the extended family.
BREAKING: Unconfirmed reports that Eric Christie, former candidate for Los Angeles City Council’s 4th District, has been arrested by the FBI at his Sherman Oaks home for his participation in the Jan 6 attack on the US Capitol.
I first broke the news in Feb 2021 that Christie, a fixture at the Beverly Hills Trump rallies, had been filmed at the Capitol behind police lines, standing on top of government vehicles and urging the crowd forward.
The indictment is apparently still sealed. I am looking to find additional confirmation on what charges have been filed.

Neo-Nazis today doxed journalist Hilary Sargent, including posting where they think she lives, the name of her young son and more. They claim she runs some anonymous Twitter account. I can say unequivocally they're wrong.
Sargent isn't involved at all in the operation of that anonymous Twitter account. Period. The neo-Nazis got this wrong, as Nazis tend to do. But the false info branding her an "anti-white" extremist has rapidly spread, putting Sargent and her family in immediate danger. (1/2)
Dear white people:
Whenever you see someone who is #BIPOC speak up about the lack of #diversity on Mastodon... You don't need to give your opinion, you don't need to correct them about their own experience, you don't need to highlight the wonders of the fediverse. Just don't.
Instead, please listen to what they say, and remember that reach here is mediated by boosts, so instead of telling them to invite more people over—or to become Mastodon leaders of their community...
... Just boost them
Make a conscious effort to follow people who are #BIPOC and boost their posts.
Boost posts by non-white marginalized communities so you can help their voices reach farther.
