A great mathematician legend from Bihar who worked for NASA in landing of first man on moon and also achieved breakthrough in mathematics died yesterday. Suffering from schizophrenia he left academics and returned to his village Bhojpur. No one was there to look after him. He just solve problems regularly and used to teach some poor kids. Although living in poor conditions, he never complained. No one came from any authority to atleast check on him.It just feels like he had been used and thrown . He died lying on a stretcher outside hospital. No ambulance or any service was provided by government . This is truly nadir of our society.

I dont know if it was a myth but they said once a few computers had gone down before a launch and Command Center quickly needed a calculation done. Vashishtha offeted to do it by hand and later when the results were tallied it was found that they were accurate.

Okay so I guess I am abandoning trying to learn systems engineering and instead I’m just gonna focus on revising JS from scratch.
Relearning JS Php Python are gonna be my new focus points.
Should I include Ruby? Perl?
My long term intent is always to build a large scale scalable system that can reach a lot of people.
So Im just gonna stick to webdev.
(Sorry for being such a Wuss, I just don’t have the attention span right now to get into low level system.)

I wanna understand what makes Unix so much more less vulnerable than windows - OS/2 or NT.
I mean microsoft spent decades trying to refine and build something to the level of Unix (something that was created on a piece of paper and a machine that sounded like a refrigerator)
I mean the only reason Unix lost consumer popularity was because it got hidden away after the break up of At&t.
