I live in Mexico, like swimming, RPG, classical music. I would like to have lived the 50’s, but probably then would miss the 20’s. So I try to live my life thinking someone in the 2060’s will miss these times.

@miailee About a new language definitely it is interesting how important is the circumstances of the people that defines the words they use. Like to name a specific time of the day when the sea level rises because for the people in the island is very important, so there would be no evening depending on the sun but a new word depending on the sea. It opened my mind. And how many vowels you have to choose from, there are like 40 or something like that.
Hello you fine people, born in 1980 in Germany. I basically grew up with computers. My dad being a tech nut I learnt to repair tube TVs in my apprenticeship (that went well …) and studied informatics for a year (that also went “well”).
I love tech, scifi and the internet with all my heart. I am recording my gameplay in various indie and Paradox games for years and nearly got rid of my formerly horrendous accent.
I don’t like censorship but my countries history taught be to be cautious. Left leaning doesn’t describe me well. I am on the very fringe of that axis but liberal to a fault. I don’t care what you do with your life if it doesn’t hurt other or infringes on their rights.
Labels are just a tool to divide us on this ride. We only have a few decades and I want to make mine the best I could possibly have.

@TheoEsc Did you do the micro-thriatlon in a regular working day? That would be great. I came early today so I can go swimming early tomorrow before work. It really makes a difference all day long.
@miailee I’ve been around less than 24 hrs and tried the #swimming search. Found your intro and want to share I’ve swim for years but recently found really like Open Water Swimming. And got a book once about how to create my own language, not that I will do that, but learned a little about linguistics and liked that too. Just wanted to say hi and explore this new place.

Hi there! I was just reading Twitter and got in to an article about Mastodon, liked the idea and here I am. Taking the next step in social independent networks. I like open water swimming, science (space and physics mostly) and human behavior in society (I was going to say politics, but like to analyze the issues farther than just the forms).
