@w7voa , why isn't the GOP calling for his expulsion from the USA?

@urbandata @Urban_Dispatch , I agree with this, but I feel that tying the removal to costs like fuel, relocation, etc are a better way to remove them. Right now, there is economic incentive for many of these abominations, and to remove one means to just move it to a different location. We need to remove them as they phase out, and not in some form of NIMBY relocation of the problem. Louisville tried this a few years ago, and although I HATE the freeway along the river, tearing it down would have been a horror show for people living near alternative routes.

Scientists: we can't keep living this way, it is unsustainable, the earth will live on, but we will perish unless we do something.

Capitalism: ok, now how do we maximize the profit in trying to save ourselves?

@gettingcomputey This quote is one of my favorites:

“The universe is probably littered with the one-planet graves of cultures which made the sensible economic decision that there's no good reason to go into space - each discovered, studied, and remembered by the ones who made the irrational decision.”

― Randall Munroe

@mur2501 , For the most part, I do ignore it. But I can't hear as well, and sometimes it causes some strange auditory illusions. And then rarely, it is gone... Sometimes for a few mins, sometimes for hours, sometimes a few days. And the level of peace is so nice...

It is interesting what different people look forward to. For instance, I just noticed my tinnitus has disappeared, which it does from time to time. Just gone. You have no idea what a relief this is. I unclench muscles I didn't know I was holding taut. I can hear things I normally don't. It is just amazing.

I'm inspired by that guy flexing by showing his W16 Volkswagen to Greta.

So ladies, check out the newest addition in my house:

@w7voa , none of those people should ever have been charged.

@girls_can , I cook for my wife. I try to not let her in my kitchen to avoid major catastrophes. If she wants food, she asks, and I make.

@w7voa , I met that guy about 50 years ago. He was touring the US, and stopped at my school. He was a really nice guy, and impressive physically. We had no idea what sport he played in... I think it was the start of the push to try and get schools to stop killing kids with football injuries. For a month or so, we tried to figure out how he kicked a ball aimed at the back of his head with a flip kick...

@Mauigirl52 @TheMooreLab @BenWest @mtsw , I just opened and closed the app, no notifications, so about 3 seconds total time. For awhile, there were daily notifications, but the last one I had was some guy claiming he won an argument that had happened 3 months ago. I'll continue to check now and then, but my use will tapper off until it's like myspace. I won't see increases of idiot groups, or anything. I won't argue. And I NEVER troll.

@mmasnick , true. Only 50% drop. My point is that what is happening to Tesla is happening across the tech industry. Often in the automotive industry. The difference between Ford and Tesla isn't really significant, if you owned either of them, you're sobbing right now. The Tesla drop in value isn't the own against Musk many people think it is.
