On my river walk yesterday, came across the amazing Egyptian Geese. If you ever come across a tree that quacks, then these creatures might be the cause. They sometimes nest in hollowed out tree trunks. Magick!

Big thread floating about on here about space travel, starting with talk about the risks of forced labour in space mining and ending with talk of economic justification. This reminds me why I’m disillusioned with space travel enthusiasts. Humanity needs to unlearn all this capitalist nonsense. It’s the only way to build a future that’s worthwhile.

A thousand years ago, parts of the world were run by small kings, sitting in small fortresses on small hills, using small armies to rule their small kingdoms. They couldn’t imagine a world run any differently.

I very much hope that a thousand years into the future, the idea of a world run by corporations and financial incentives appears similarly quaint and shortsighted.

First bad experience with a carer today. My nightmare scenario of telling me how filthy my house is and why does she have to help me clean anyway? 🙁 Feeling very attacked and very small and ashamed. A great opportunity for my Buddhist practice, I guess, but it feels crap.

Dear Friends of the Living and Dead,

Visited our local bee apiary, wildlife sanctuary and cemetery. Planted some sunflowers for the birds. Might be a bit early but worth the risk.

Saw Spring and Summer plants, parakeets etc. A quiet oasis in an urban environment.

When I make videos with willing aware volunteers, I'm judged for not paying them the money that I don't have.

When putting art out in the world, I'm judged for advertising as if that's what I do.

When speaking my truth and lived experiences about gender, mental health and the climate emergency, I face people who try to silence me while preaching freedom of speech.

But when I get one person a day telling me that what I do inspires them, I know I can reach millions and I'm here to stay.
