@drskyskull by no means am I an expert but I did a piece of translation work recently (biology text) and I remember “aggregation” and/or “fusion” being referred to as ‘coming together’ multicellularity.

For the full “Ambition” experience, I recommend watching the teaser trailer, released without any hint that it was linked to Rosetta or ESA, then the main film, & finally the epilogue released in September 2016, when the mission ended with Rosetta’s impact on 67P/C-G.

#OTD eight years ago, the Philae lander left the Rosetta spacecraft & headed towards the surface of Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.

Some of the rationale for this astonishing European Space Agency mission with its huge technological, operational, & scientific challenges is captured in the short sci-fi film we made with Platige Image, not least in the title: “Ambition”.

Such a privilege to have been involved with such an amazing team 🙇‍♂️

@gwr I’ve been active there for over a decade, and never thought I’d have to make any changes. It’s easy to get used to the comfort of the known and familiar. But the switch already feels right.
