Since William Shakespeare lived in the past technically we should be refering to him in the past tense. Therefore the proper way to say his name would be "Wouldiwas Shookspeare"

After thinking about this a bit more, I realized that Hamlet is dead, because it's past.

I rewrote this using the simulation hypothesis as a basis of understanding.
