The truth is…

A vegan doctor working in a hospital emergency room does not have to treat any patient who comes in with a gunshot wound due to a hunting accident. The doctor can just claim religious freedom and let the patient die.

BTW, I’m sure if you look back at my old toots here you will find some where I confuse led and lead – that’s one I mix up all the time.

I can't. As far as I know, there is only one pronunciation in American English for the word “led” (which is the past tense of lead).

(My dyslexia limits my ability to resolve abbreviations, especially without context, except for those that have become very common, such as ROM or CPU.)
