With the presumptive nominee being appointed never having received a single primary vote, let's be sure we call it the Democrat convention, not democratic convention. There's been nothing particularly democratic about the Democrat primary.

It's disappointing to see people straw man all non Democrats as hateful toward immigrants in order to claim that Christians must vote for the party with unrestricted abortion as their unashamed central sacrament.
I've learned there's nothing to make me so handy as getting a professional quote for work needed on our bathrooms.
I got a lot of steps on Saturday without even going for a morning run... A good number of those steps were my five trips to the local hardware/home improvement store... Renovating a bathroom and broke a pipe. 🤣

I'm old enough to remember the white house press secretary condemning any media that implied Biden want up for the job as "cheap fake" manipulated media.
What shocking and sudden thing happened to Biden that without any indication (other than cheap fake republican lies) he is suddenly, out of the blue, resigning? We have been assured until now that he's at the top of his game and anyone who says otherwise is engaged in election interference.
We can't just assume that #Harris and the rest of the administration have been lying to us the whole time about their nominee's fitness for office... that would make them unsupportable for lying to the public for so long about the fitness of the presidential nominee. If they lied about one nominee, they'll lie about the next.
Have we even confirmed that tweet isn't another cheap fake published on the Trump supporting X platform? Where's #Biden?

Would you say that killing some of Hitler's followers in the attempt to kill Hitler would be wrong or unacceptable?
"Kill Hitler" is an unsurprising response to what one would do with a time machine. When the constant drumbeat for years has been that Trump is worse than Hitler, is anyone surprised at today's event?
I don't see surprise on the timelines from people who aren't Trump fans. I only see disappointment from many that the assassination attempt was not successful.
Will anyone be surprised at more assassination attempts at #Trump and other non-#Democrats?
Observation: Timelines on the fediverse are full of people rejoicing that people were shot at the Trump rally and bemoaning that today's assassination attempt was not successful.
One of my kids' birthday asks was to go on a hike with just me. Had a lovely time hiking a few miles on a nearby trail this morning.

Thank God nobody ever actually followed through on the "lock her up" chants and charged Hillary with any crimes. If we'd strayed outside of the norms like that, Democrats might have done something drastic when they took power. Think of the norms. Must always protect the norms!
