At times I wonder if these related forms are just .

How can anyone check they are actually using it?

Also... opt-out?
If I remember correctly, as per analytics should be opt-in.

"Basic Category Theory" by Tom Leinster is the best intro to Category Theory, IMO. On top of that, you can get it for free legally on arxiv: https://arxiv.org/abs/1612.09375

Now... yes... call me naive...

BUT it never occurred to ME that credit card providers were harvesting my transactions.

🤦‍♂️

@Shamar You can opt out from data analytics (e.g. your payment behaviour, transactions etc) of credit card providers. It should work for all EU because of the #GDPR, not sure about other countries...

What I'd REALLY like to see is the C-to-V compiler that was promised some times ago.

I don't care about the tricks it would employ: if it works, I would seriously consider V for system programming.

Listening for the third time to the amazing speech of @aral at the EU Parliament, this time looking at a better video which contains also his slides:

At minute 12:20 he rocks and says:

"You are acting as an unpaid Research and Development department for silicon valley. Because if a startup here succeeds, it gets bought by Google or Facebook. If it fails, we pick up the bill."

😍

@Wolf480pl the unix philosophy is one tool to do one job extremely well. The average Linux distro uses systemd as its init system.

Systemd is the polar opposite of the unix philosophy.

Notable exceptions: Slackware and Gentoo. I'm sure other distros don't use systemd but this is outside the scope of my comment.
