Non discutevo la volontà o la liceità, solo la possibiltà: usare fossil in self-hosting evita che i tuoi sorgenti vengano scaricati a strascico da GitHub.
Quanto a RMS, non uso più le GPL da un po': ho scritto la #HackingLicense proprio per superarne i limiti (anche culturali ed ideologici).
Rispondevo al "non ci puoi fare proprio niente": se non vuoi che clonino un tuo progetto da github, spostati su un sistema facilissomo da self-hostare come fossil.

I guess Unix sockets could be used to write a CGI interface to Snac:
- check the socket file esists
- read a pid file
- check the /proc/$PID/exe point to snac bin
- if any of the above fail, double fork, start snac, create Unix socket
- send all of the HTTP request over the Unix socket and send back the response to the browser.

I'm an old school #web #developer.
I still test websites on several browsers, including #Firefox.
And no, automated testing is not enough: when you spot a issue you have to debug and fix it.
And no, in many cases I don't care about the marketshare, as some websites' target audience is atipical.
In any case, I cannot disinstall shitty spyware like Firefox or #Chrome, despite not using any of them for my personal browsing.
What bugs me is the extreme hypocrisy of #Mozilla, that always blather about privacy an people, and then always find new ways to sell users habits to #Google.

And the only way to disable this shit is to click on the trends AFTER the download?
What if I do not want to inform Google about my existence AT ALL?
