Il passo di #Google per i sostenitori della privacy è che un mondo con #FLoC (e altri elementi della "#sandbox per la #privacy") sarà migliore rispetto al mondo che abbiamo oggi, dove broker di dati e giganti dell'ad-tech tracciano e profilano impunemente. Ma quell'inquadratura si basa su una falsa premessa che dobbiamo scegliere tra "vecchio #tracciamento" e "nuovo tracciamento".

I remember being blocked by @sir times ago because I argued that #GCC management of undefined behaviour in C was correct, by C specification.
And that in fact, undefined behaviours in #C have an important role in the language, to allow compiler specific implementations, useful in some contexts.
Tbh, I think that @sir, as brilliant as he IS as a developer, did not looked for a #social media, but for a cheap #marketing platform.
As such, any factual correction or objection that hurt his image was considered as a loss instead of as a chance to learn new things.

Lo so che non vengono contabilizzati i mancati introiti ed appunto la mia osservazione era una critica ai datori di lavoro italiani che approfittano della condizione dei migranti irregolari (vedi "costretti a lavorare in nero").
Poi sia chiaro: personalmente ritengo che dovremmo concedere la cittadinanza a chiunque si trovi in Italia e la chieda.
E questo per una ragione semplice: in UE il peso dei paesi in Parlamento è proporzionale al numero di cittadini.
Lo proposi anni fa nel Partito Pirata (da cui sono poi uscito disgustato) ma mi dicevano che sarebbe stato un suicidio politico. 🤷♂️

The first couple of projects I ever did with Chicken was using FFI heavily but that was 20 years ago and since I haven’t touched the FFI stuff.
