@moonshine@freespeechextremist.com @TheMadPirate yeah, I reminded her about all that tea my ancestors threw into the harbor and she nearly had a stroke.

@georgia@spinster.xyz she was really underweight when I got her, and she'd just had a surgery from the city to neuter/spay. Her ear still had scabs on it from when it was clipped.

She slept SO much the first weekend, just constantly asleep on my legs. She started coming to me when she was in pain, and I'd just give her tons of love and gentle pets and she'd purr and it seemed to help.

I took her to the vet like 5 times the first month, just because I was worried about her.

I'm also not sure where her pink collar went. She slipped it sometime and I just never replaced it or found it.

@georgia@spinster.xyz here are some from when I first brought her home. She was so tiny. And one more taken a few months after.

@georgia@spinster.xyz I need to take new ones when I get home, or will some of the old ones be okay?

@Starlit_Fire @Juju@spinster.xyz @AthenasWrench Just remember the phrase 'why are you crying like a girl' coming up more than once. :/

@Starlit_Fire @Juju@spinster.xyz @AthenasWrench I'm afraid I can't speak for the female experience, having never experienced it myself.

@Mrfunkedude Yeah, it's pretty spectacular when the couple of brain cells I got up there bounce together and give me one of those headaches with pictures.

@Mrfunkedude I am disappointed you haven't changed your name to Mr. Spook E. Dude.

@freemo My favorite thing is that some of the right-wing types who are like 'She was a genius!' seem to also completely be unaware she was a fairly ardent feminist and was 100% Pro-choice.

@freemo except for her stance on Abortion. I'm cool with that.

@freemo Very misunderstood, and not at all someone I agree with.

@Starlit_Fire @AthenasWrench I have opinions on this.

I think men and women have the same capacity for emotion. It's "Acceptable" for women to cry, but "not acceptable" for men to cry. Sort of baked into western society.

Used to cry a lot as a kid- was always told it was 'gay' or that 'boys don't cry' or those sorts of things.

I've ended up bottling almost all emotion as a result and I'm not better for it.

@uteri_my_duderi "being GAY is a CHOICE"--who said it, every idiot homophobe where I grew up or a fake-woke homophobe that only has a presence on this website because he's playing hide-the-pickle with a socially relevant woman organizer 👀👀👀

Kinda wondering what I want to do when I get home this evening. I mean, sleep comes eventually, but.. do I want to play some more Stellaris? I'm enjoying playing the Lithoids. RockMans are cool.

@sptnkmmnt I want to sleep for 20 hours a day, too. Gunna pass on being a Koala, though, riddled with chlamydia.
