The #Huawei debate falls too short. Security and trust can only be established by

1) releasing the code of critical infrastructure as #FreeSoftware and
2) implementing measures to verify code integrity.

A simple ban or secret audit won't help.

@garbados Centralised Crypto Currency Exchanges are not the best places to do business.
They go against the whole Idea of the decentralization and liberation of everyones individual right to have control over their money.
Centralised Exchanges are very susceptible to theft and other nasty things.

If you want to remain Free and have more control over your finances, avoid things that you don't hold the keys to.

In the case of Crypto Currency, use a hardware wallet based on solidly audited and proven Free/Libre Software.

Using a hardware wallet may seem expensive or less convenient than using an App on your mobile phone but it is far safer for you as they eliminate several social and technical vulnerabilities.
