Air raid alert in Belgorod, explosions heard

“A missile siren has been launched in Belgorod and the Belgorod region. If you are at home, do not go near the windows. Take shelter in rooms without windows with solid walls (hallway, bathroom, toilet, pantry). If you are on the street, go down to a shelter or other safe place,” Governor Gladkov wrote.

Earlier, the Freedom of Russia Legion announced large-scale attacks on military targets in Belgorod and called on “everyone who has not yet managed to leave the region to immediately go to shelters.”

G7 members are ready to ban Iran Air from flying to Europe if Tehran hands over short-range ballistic missiles to Moscow.

The US is said to have joined its six G7 allies in issuing a statement warning Iran against sending missiles to Russia or face consequences.

"If Iran continues to supply Russia with ballistic missiles or related technologies, we are ready to respond quickly and in a coordinated manner, including with new and significant measures against Iran," the G7 statement said.

The United States is reacting increasingly aggressively to Iran's support for militants in the region who carry out attacks on American bases and to Tehran's alleged hacking of American infrastructure.

A senior US official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said one option being considered by the G7 would be to end Iran Air's flights to Europe.

During the session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, politicians from SPD, VDP and "Greens" voted for a resolution that Kyiv needs the Taurus missiles.

This happened against the background of the fact that on March 14, German Bundestag deputies did not pass a decision on the transfer of Taurus to Ukraine.

The vote in the European Parliament took place on the resolution on "the need for unwavering support of Ukraine from the EU."

Paragraph 11 of the document emphasized that: "The country especially needs highly developed air defense systems, long-range cruise missiles such as Taurus, Storm Shadow and Scalp systems, modern combat aircraft, various types of artillery and ammunition, as well as drones."

451 deputies supported the resolution; 46 — opposed; 49 - abstained.

In addition, the representatives of the VDP and the "Greens" unanimously voted for the resolution.

“The vote in Strasbourg shows how isolated the traffic light government in Berlin is with its line.

Despite the fact that we, the CDU/CSU, welcome the vote of the EU deputies from the SPD, the Greens and the VDP, the presentation of opposite positions in Brussels and Berlin is a deception of the voters", said the head of the CDU/CSU group in the EU Parliament, Daniel Kaspari.

The Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz remains opposed.

Ukraine is preparing to create a new branch of the military: The Drone Forces. One of the prototypes is the 411 Separate UAV Batallion, also called the 411 HAWKS. Founded a year ago, the Hawks are one of the first to work exclusively with drones, from standard FPVs to large bombers. Today, they are taking us on two of their missions in one of the most difficult directions of the frontline: Robotyne.

According to the Associated Press, tens of thousands of people gathered in Budapest, Hungary's capital, to protest against Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's government.

The demonstrators responded to the call of opposition Hungarian politician Peter Magyar, who urged all Hungarians with good intentions to join a unified force working for the country's betterment.

Magyar delivered a scathing critique of Orbán and his administration, highlighting the need for a genuine political force that cannot be influenced by bribery or blackmail. He emphasized the importance of honesty, transparency, and independence from extremist ideologies.

Additionally, Magyar advocated for Hungary's closer alignment with its Western allies and the restoration of independence for the prosecutor's office and the media, which he argued had become overly politicized.

Magyar's stance also includes supporting Hungary's membership in the European Public Prosecutor's Office, a move opposed by Orbán.

According to the latest data from the Hungarian Median polling institute, Magyar's party stands to gain nine percent of the vote in the upcoming elections, potentially making it the strongest force in Hungary's fragmented opposition.

“The contractions started: I practically couldn’t walk, and they put me out on the street". Pregnant women were urgently discharged from the maternity hospital in Rostov, since wounded military personnel will now be treated there.

All patients were urgently discharged from the former maternity hospital No. 5 in Rostov-on-Don at the end of February and in March they began to receive military personnel wounded in Ukraine, writes 161.ru.

“It was on my shift. I went to the delivery room to pick up the Caesarean, to pick up the baby and saw people [in uniform]. Then these people came down to our second floor and I asked who it was. The midwife girls said: “These are warriors.” Well, you can’t hide it in a bag, we were told that there would be a military hospital here,” says the nurse. “The manager said: “They are looking for a building for a military hospital.” They asked how much equipment and monitors we have,” a maternity hospital employee told the publication.

All women in labour were discharged by the end of February: they were sent to the Central City Hospital, the regional perinatal center or the 20th hospital, journalists write. The patient, who was discharged on February 22, was forced to go to give birth in Novocherkassk, since the perinatal center was “closed for cleaning”.

“On February 22, I was nominated the day before the birth. On the morning of the 23rd, contractions began: I could practically not walk, but they put me out on the street, and I had to go to a consultation for a new direction. Some were left until the 26th, some were transported by ambulance, others were thrown out,” said the Rostov resident.

In pre-trial detention center No. 2 of Taganrog, people are tortured to death.

We are talking about Ukrainian prisoners of war, 90% of whom testify to the terrible torture inflicted on them almost every day in captivity. They torture everyone, including women. Putin's spawn of sadists and bastards maim and kill people in dungeons, like the Nazis.

Victims report constant beatings, including with a rebar, people's legs are broken and joints are knocked out, they are tortured with electric shocks, including the application of electric shocks to the genitals, women are stripped, they are beaten in the kidneys and chest.

The victims were not provided with medical care and died from torture. All prisoners are starved, many die from exhaustion. All these cases were recorded by human rights activists. The Office of the UN High Commissioner said it had similar evidence in its possession.

This is a real death concentration camp right here in Taganrog, just like the Nazis had. The monstrous crimes of the occupying Putin's fascist regime is happening right now in our city.

“The state is headed by a satanic sect that only knows how to kill and torture.” Writer Dmitry Bykov - about the attack on Volkov, threats to dissenters and new repressions

“The attack on Volkov in broad daylight and not in the most deserted place is completely unprecedented in its impudence. The escalation began right before the elections.”

You can never feel safe anywhere, the government is destroying dissidents around the world, while at the same time causing escalation at the front.

Compromises with the regime are impossible. “Russia is headed by a satanic sect that only knows how to kill and torture, and has been unable to offer anything else.”

People are beginning to see things more clearly: “The cry “The Motherland is in danger!” does not solve our problems - the population begins to realize the gap between the state and the Motherland. And saving the Motherland means destroying this state and overthrowing this totalitarian sect at any cost. Our task is to win back our future.”

Moscow Prosecutor's Office Calls "Noon Against Putin" an Unsanctioned Extremist Rally .

Maria Andreeva, activist of the movement of wives of mobilized men "The Way Home", received a warning from the prosecutor's office of the North-Western District of Moscow about the "inadmissibility of violating the law" in connection with her intention to take part in the action "Noon against Putin".

The attention of the prosecutor's office was attracted by Andreeva's repost of a video with a call to appear at the polls at the specified time and spoil the ballot.

From the agency's point of view, we are talking about "imminent illegal acts containing signs of extremist activity." The prosecutor's office also pointed out that these "public events" were not coordinated with the authorities, and recalled the responsibility, both administrative and criminal. In particular, they talked about Article 141 of the Criminal Code on obstruction of elections.

Andreeva was outraged that people are not allowed to come to the polling stations at certain hours, although officially these institutions are open from 08:00 to 20:00. "And what is wrong, and where is democracy? And freedom of choice and speech! Cancel the elections then altogether, and no one will come," she wrote.

Not a single real opposition candidate was allowed to participate in the Presidential election sham. The only one who was given the opportunity to collect signatures was Boris Nadezhdin in order to "live up the boring one-candidate-elections". However, when the Kremlin saw queues of those wishing to support the politician, the CEC was instructed not to register the candidate, as sources close to the Kremlin confirmed.

Right, so Russians are not only forced to vote only Putin, but also ordered when to do it. If they don't obey they are extremists. I suppose next order will be execution squads at the polling stations. Pure North Korea style.

Putin is a gangster, a tyrant, a war criminal and a murderer - WP
In her opinion piece for the Washington Post Yulia Navalnaya called on Western countries not to recognize the results of the Russian presidential election

Western leaders should not recognize the election results nor Putin as the legitimate president of Russia. Yulia Navalnaya also called on Russians to participate in the “Noon Against Putin” campaign, and Western countries to help all Russian citizens who resist the Putin regime.

But why do democratic countries continue to recognize his criminal power as legitimate? Why do world leaders elected in
fair elections put themselves on the same level as a bandit who has been rigging elections for decades, killing, imprisoning or driving out all his critics from the country, and now has also unleashed a bloody war in Europe by attacking Ukraine? , asked Yulia
Navalnaya in her column.

Russia pushes Azerbaijan to attack Armenia, but Aliyev fears full-scale war due to Western sanctions threat.

In recent weeks, Armenian authorities have been warning that Azerbaijan, which last year seized the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) region, is now preparing to attack Armenia itself. In a late February interview with France 24 TV, Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashinyan accused Azerbaijani authorities of not recognizing Armenia's territorial integrity, stating that an attack on his country is “highly likely.” Moreover, according to the Armenian side, Azerbaijani troops are currently occupying lands belonging to 31 Armenian villages, with the total occupied sovereign Armenian territory amounting to 170 square km.

The Insider spoke with regional experts about the likelihood of an Azerbaijani invasion, how prepared Armenia is for war, and what roles Russia, Turkey, and Western nations are playing in the developing situation.

While the experts differ in their assessment of the likelihood of a full-scale invasion of Armenia, they see short-term military actions possible and concur that the Kreminals will attempt to capitalize on the fighting. They confirm that the Kremlin supports Azerbaijan's aggression as Putin does not like Armenia's policy after 2018, and has chosen this strategy of undermining it. Russia has openly claimed its stake in the South Caucasus — alongside the broader post-Soviet domain — as part of its sphere of direct interests. And it generally takes this approach to post-Soviet countries — either a country will be maximally friendly towards Russia, or Russia will pursue a policy of undermining its statehood. As Armenia shifted focus as consequence of Russia's lack of support for Yerevan during Azerbaijan's assaults, the Kremlin already reacted with only thinly veiled threats coupled with accusations of “unfriendly steps” taken by Armenia.
Not to forget that fanning the flames of war in yet another region is seen by the Kreminals as perfect instrument to withdraw attention, money and military help for Ukraine.
