Good morning Resisters everywhere.
This morning my chair (padded canvas camp chair) is soaking wet and I had to fetch it from where the wind carried it. We had one of those storms where you hear the wind about 15 seconds before it hits.
This morning the sun is shining and it's 55⁰

🇩🇪 It is more than clear to me that Ukraine urgently needs long-range missiles, - German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock.

During a visit to the United States, Burbok reiterated her approval of the transfer of Taurus missiles to Ukraine, but avoided answering when exactly that might happen.

The head of the German Foreign Ministry did not comment on rumors that the transfer of Taurus and American ATACMS may be jointly announced during the UN General Assembly in New York. Despite this, Berbock noted that Germany and the USA "closely and trustfully cooperate on this issue", so the final decision "depends on Washington as well."

The minister emphasized that during her recent visit to Kyiv, she discussed the transfer of Taurus with Volodymyr Zelensky. Also, the issue of long-range missiles was raised at Burbok's meetings with American Republican senators. She noted that it is very important for the transfer of this type of weapons to have bipartisan support in the United States.

🇱🇻 Latvia has a new government. The parliament in Riga confirmed the previous welfare minister Evika Silina as the new prime minister. 53 MPs voted for the three-way alliance of the 48-year-old politician from the liberal-conservative ruling party Jauna Vienotiba - with 39 votes against. This Baltic EU and NATO country borders Russia and its ally Belarus.
The lawyer succeeds her party colleague, Krisjanis Karins, who resigned in mid-August, and who will become the new foreign minister. In her speech in parliament, Silina said the country of 1.9 million people would stick to its Euro-Atlantic course and continue to support Ukraine, which was attacked by Russia. “As long as we have an aggressor country in our neighborhood, security will be the top priority for the Latvian government,” said Silina.

A fantastic story that happened during the assault on Andriivka.

The assault group of the 2nd Mechanised Battalion of the 3rd assault brigade takes another group of prisoners, while the enemy, realising that the village is lost and its fighters are surrendering en masse, orders to open fire on their own.

Shell explodes. There is silence at the command post, everyone is getting grey. The smoke dissipates - all of our guys are intact, one prisoner is in pieces, two are lucky and are taken out to live. In war, luck plays a role.

Solar plants in some cases reduce electricity costs by up to 90%

Boris Rakhlin , the owner of the Dosvid brand and the Albatros factory, which is engaged in the production and installation of solar power plants for business, told UBNow how.

It is important to reduce the harmful impact on the environment from traditional energy sources
On the one hand, a stable and reliable supply of electricity is required to ensure uninterrupted operation. On the other hand, it is important to strive to reduce the harmful impact on the environment and reduce dependence on traditional energy sources.
Solar energy is a perfect combination of these two aspects. Photoelectric modules are one of the components in the movement to reform the energy sector. Solar power plants meet modern requirements for compliance with environmental norms and standards and can fully satisfy consumers' needs for electricity.

How to invest to reduce costs in solar energy
Businesses that invest in solar energy can expect significant reductions in electricity costs. Grants make it possible to reduce the initial cost of installing solar power plants, making such projects more affordable and financially attractive. Thanks to alternative energy, business gains autonomy from traditional energy monopolists and independence from price fluctuations per kWh, strengthening its ecological reputation, reducing environmental impact and increasing competitiveness.
The investment return process is reduced to 3 years, thanks to the constant growth of tariffs per kWh. The payback period also decreases proportionally. And thanks to the latest equipment production technologies, adaptability when building individual consumption schemes for each object, switching to solar energy reduces costs in the long term. Solar plants provide a virtually free source of energy after the investment in their installation. And in some cases, electricity costs are reduced by up to 90%.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken commented on the possible transfer of long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine. He was asked whether the US is afraid of US missile strikes on Russian territory.

"Any system that is being discussed for a possible transfer to Ukraine is being analyzed by Washington. When it comes to the use of transferred weapons, the Ukrainian forces themselves choose the targets. They will have to make a decision about what might be most effective in the effort to restore full sovereignty and territorial integrity," he said.

Drone "Sea Baby" shot down Russian missile ship "Samum" - media

Ukrainskaya Pravda, citing a source in the SBU, reports that yesterday a naval drone attacked the Samum missile ship. The Sea Baby hit the rear right side of the vessel. With “a large trim to the stern and a list to starboard,” it was towed away for repairs.

It is reported that for the attack the SBU used an experimental drone that is capable of operating in a storm, hiding from detection behind high waves. During the special operation, the wave height reached 1.5-2 m.

The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the Samum missile ship. According to them, the attack was "unsuccessful."

* "Samum" is a ship of Project 1239 "Sivuch". It is designed for reconnaissance, destroying warships, covering landing forces and fighting fast boats.

Six people who fought on the side of the occupying forces of the Russian Federation were sentenced to 15 years in prison - Prosecutor General's Office

Each of them was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property owned by right of ownership.

The prosecutors proved in court that in 2022 the convicts joined the ranks of the LNR/DNR armed formations not provided for by law.

At the "service" they received military uniforms and weapons. They took turns at the positions of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, received and transmitted information about the movement of military equipment and the placement of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

They also guarded the military facilities of the occupiers, carried out fortification of structures for enemy positions and resisted the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions.

" ATESH" discovered an aircraft repair plant in Yevpatoria!

Agent "ATESH" transmits information about the operation of the repair plant by the Russians. The plant has 2 large bays where damaged equipment is repaired. Work is carried out around the clock. The volumes are not large and mostly with minimal damage. From this part, personnel are rotated to the Belogorsky district, periods from 1 to 2 months.

A very interesting object, from our point of view!

Let's defeat the occupier together - join ATESH atesh_fire

Belgium will provide two of it's F-16 trainers with 2 seats to train Ukrainians.

❗️ There is no doubt that PACE will support the resolution recognizing russia as a dictatorship, — the Deputy Head of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy Yevheniia Kravchuk:

🔹 The PACE Committee has recognized that the russian federation has actually become a dictatorship. Representatives of Ukraine will demand that the resolution on this be voted on immediately — already at the autumn session scheduled for October.

💬I am confident that there will be political will to vote for this resolution in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The document was supported by an absolute majority in the Committee. Now the only question is who will leave the hall during the vote, who will abstain, because there are unlikely to be many people who want to press the red button, thus claiming that russia is a democracy, not a dictatorship, the MP said.

❗️ Top Ukrainian rowers, led by two-time Olympic champion Yurii Cheban, with the support of the NOC of Ukraine's Athletes Commission represented by its Chairman Heorhii Zantarai, called on the International Canoe Federation and the entire civilized sports world to ban representatives of russia and belarus from participating in international competitions, even in neutral status.

💬russia and belarus are aggressor countries — the whole civilized world has recognized this, and russian and belarusian athletes still represent their states, which are responsible for aggressive policies and the murder of the Ukrainian people.

❌They cannot be considered neutral, because they do not condemn the actions of their countries, but rather support them. We call on the international sports leadership to impose tough sanctions against russia and belarus and to completely ban their athletes from any competitions!
