Deleting your DMs isn't going to do anything as they are kept as part of your user data. 
In art / fandom news โ DeviantArt has introduced an AI image generator into their site based on their "catalog". You must opt out, via a FORM, not just a checkbox, to have your artwork made unavailable for this tool. The checkbox that exists is only for third-party tools.
Artists, if you have art there and don't want your art included, get on top of this. I am a supporter of AI tools for personal use and inspiration, but this is vicious.

I disagree mightily that quoting is one of The Main Issues as to why things are terrible #there and not here. I think that for certain kinds of accounts โ ESPECIALLY accounts that do outreach, quotes help because just boosting something may not give your readers the context they need. YMMV.
There's nearly zero #slash written for #TheMatrix films. What the actual hell? There's nearly none for #JohnWick. 
Like. Are we not writing slash for action films now? Is #Inception a bug in the system, lasting 12+ years now? Are #TomHardy and #JosephGordonLevitt just magic?

@WFKARS@mastodon.social I mean the reason I followed you was that you had great opinions on a lot of things, in healthcare, and you're also LGBTQ+, so I could always find something in common with your posts.
I've pretty much been posting similarly to the birb, even just image shitposts, and it's gone over well and gotten me plenty of followers that aren't from there โ plenty of medical professionals, scientists, etc. I wouldn't worry.

@Urbane_doc4kids It almost makes me feel bad for 12 month shots in the winter time. MMR, VVax, PCV, Hep A, AND Flu. At least that's what most docs at my old clinic would do. Good god. Though I guess 2/4/6 mos aren't any better!

That is super surprising! I got thru my hep vacs no issue, but EVERY time I've gotten a Moderna COVID it has taken me down.
I was so hopeful this last time, I thought it couldn't possibly happen again. #4! Absolute joke on me. Friday thru Sunday I Slept and felt like hot garbage.

It's the feed of every instance that isn't blocked by your instance and all the posts happening on it. You probably won't see every due to speed and other factors but you'll see a ton. It's like a firehose.
