A fake Eli Lily account tweets that insulin is now free and stock loses immense amount of worth. I'm not commenting on the morality of insulin here. The issue is the legality — can Eli Lily sue the Bird.
Blue checks have always inferred authenticity, so suddenly introducing parody might not protect the Bird according to law people. I think this is amazing because Elon deserves all the suing & fuck Eli Lily about insulin.

(Not saying topics should always be comfortable, but that seeking comfort often flies in the face of empathy and anything that challenges that tendency is good, even if unpleasant).

My dude, I know that I, personally am a bigger asshole than most people. A lot of my friends would agree with that. I am absolutely willing to CW some politics and certain things like extreme violence. I'll even CW fandom stuff and some filthy minded things.
However — when we start getting into to things like eye contact and other, "It makes me uncomfy," situations, that is falling into the not my problem category. I'm trying to be nice about this but, how can people think that we should cater to that kind of denominator?
