@realcaseyrollins yes it can be taught. I learned how in grad school. Lots of personal reflection papers and having your soul ripped apart by peer groups.

I just noticed @alex copied QOTOs rules/about page when he wrote the gleasonator about page. I dont mind of course, I am glad he found them valuable. A lot of servers seem to replicate our rules in fact, its an honor if anything.

@cjbooker I offer an alternative view that not everyone on here wants to offer up their gender as a data point for others to attach their prejudices to. I know that at the current moment not sharing pronouns is seen as rejecting the rights of people to be addressed with their gender identity, but I think one should not have to reveal ones gender to participate in the discussion. It is why I have listed ze/zem in my profile. These are not the pronouns I use IRL, but I choose to participate in this online space without declaring a gender.
@japierce I hear the concern, but I think outside of a pandemic those you identify are better served by Eucharistic Visitors. Especially for people who struggle to attend church, personal contact with a physical person is one of the great gifts that our community can provide.
On the other hand, virtu spiritual formation and bible study seems like a real success.
