The Herrentee has an intense bitterness to the level of quinine bitter.

It should be remarked that I follow the practice of long steeping. Will need try out the other methods like moka pot or cold brew to get the ideal taste to bitterness ratio. Definitely a good tea if you would like to add milk.

Will start the testing with Herrentee.

You know what mastodon feels like to me right now? You are at a too huge, too loud obnoxious Twitter party. You step outside on to the back porch and discover all the exchange students are there, and the kids from Computer Club, and a couple of Goth kids smoking. You relax and strike up a conversation about anime and then sustainable vertical urban farming.

Suddenly the sliding glass door flies open and the Twitter kids are spilling outside spraying a keg of beer and woo-hooing. Hmm.

that the definition of being unemployed in the States is not as straightforward as one would assume. All you have to do is work less than one hour for money in the test week. Unemployment is collected via a sample of 60,000 households via a questionnaire. Additionally one needed to look for employment in the past 4 weeks. (There are additional requirements that can be read in the references.)

I feel the data can be very easily skewed like if you didn't work at all during test week (easily calculated), but work the rest of the month. Or the other way around, that you only work that week.

It is bonkers that 1h of paid labor in the test week is sufficient enough to be considered employed.

So if the number is low in the States it could really be because of these observations. But if the number is higher than average, then it seems like the validity of the data is in question.

To see an example checkout the data once the COVID-19 pandemic started.

After a week of tracking without too much focus of purposely eating unique plants, I came up to 44.

It could be that my diet already plays an important role to almost guarantee that I achieve at least 30 plants per week, since I follow a whole food plant based diet.

From the 44 plants eaten, more than 50% were in their whole form. 25% were from beverages, mainly herbal teas. And the other 25% were from processed foods.

Will need to look into the existing documentation to find data that can back up the initial claim of "eating at least 30 unique plants per week" promotes gut health.

Almost might need to track the size of the servings and the amount of added sugar, since sugar can make your gut health worse off.

Browser Video Hack:

Have you ever wanted to change the play rate of video beyond the given settings. Well with

```
document.getElementsByTagName('video')[0].playbackRate = <number>
```

you can change it to any `<number>` speed of your choosing.

Just paste the command in your browsers console and you should be good to go. (Change `<number>` to an actual number.)

It seems like eating a diet rich in polyphenols promotes good gut health and therefore complete health. There is some consensus that eating at least 30 unique plants per week will achieve this condition. It is important to note that the plants should be the least amount of processed until considered palatable to get the most per serving, so e.g. cooked potatoes over chips.

30 plants might seem a lot per week, though it averages to a bit more than 4 plants per day. It seems the issue of getting variety will exist in poorer nations and/or restrictive diets.

Thus to test this hypothesis will be tracking such plants plus the additional information of processed level (none, some, high) and if from a beverage (beer, tea, coffee, wine, juice).

Any one else who wants to participate, just let me know, so that we can anonymize the data.

It feels weird to use a whole weekend to program a reverse engineered dashboard creator (codeberg.org/barefootstache/Si) that can manually be done in less than a hour per dashboard.

Initial features:

- one can create a dashboard using the demo
- one can create as many local ones as one wishes
- all dashboards are saved locally in the browser
- there is a template for a quick open street map dashboard
- responsive on mobile

---

I have made at least 5 dashboards manually before deciding to reverse engineer the process. Quite proud that the OSM template works as expected and was able to remove a set of home screen saved websites on mobile to use the template instead.

As a tea fan, I try to learn new brewing methods, that is when I stumbled upon the moka pot.

From what I read prior to purchase is that the taste of tea would be more intense than what one is used to.

Off to test that hypothesis and can conclude that is (subjectively) false.

Though I should remark that I don't follow brewing times. Means the tea ball stays in the cup until it is time to drink or annoys me too much while drinking. So brewing times at least are 10min and sometimes even hours.

The only thing that the hypothesis did share is a quick way to make a cup of tea. Will need to experiment with small brewing tweaks to play around with the intensify like cooling the lower pot to make it stronger or pulverizing the plant matter.

Can friendship exist independently of the circumstances of one's life?

If false, then it can be argued that potentially friendship is deterministic.

Further it would be to reason that having friends is part of life. Though can a friendless life exist and how would it look?

Wondering if unilateral friendships is a coping mechanism of the brain trying to keep you sane.

Does anyone have experience in encrypting partially?

Was thinking of going with .

if you had an unique experience daily, will the brain ever run out of memory?
