And no, that’s not counting ChromeOS—even though it runs a Linux kernel and uses a Linux userland, but let’s not start that fight today.

Still, I can’t help wondering: how much of that growth is just gamers? It’s hard to ignore the timing. Linux starts climbing right as the Steam Deck blows up. That’s not a fluke. That’s momentum.
