Probably the most epic before/after I've been involved with: Our 200+ year old barn converted into a small theater. This pandemic project was 100% self-done. The lumber was all reclaimed or sawn from trees on our property. We pressure-washed, added windows, stairs, rebuilt the horse stall floor (now stage), and added brick paving. Lots of digging with interesting archaeology! We plan music & dance events here. Still missing: The electrical system! #restoration #barn #theater #archaeology

A while back I saw an r/woodworking post where someone was asking for resources for woodworking plans. A few people told them to Google it.

If you Google it you get absolute horseshit. Just page after page of useless results. So we need to stop the fucking "let me google that for you" era and recognize that search is entirely broken in the modern day. We NEED human recommendations and information sharing now more than ever.
