I was reading today that in Gen-Z dating, sincerity and earnestness are concidered "cringe" and I was thinking how lucky I was to have been Gen-X when I could just look my love-interest (now wife) in the eye and tell her I thought she was awesome.

People are now calling things that are fairly recent developments "retro" which is sort of like second or third order "retro" from where I'm sitting. #old
