I watched "To Leslie" last night and ... wow ... that's a performance that deserves an win.

Unpopular Opinion: I have no idea why everyone raves about "Everything Everywhere all at Once". For me, it was a 2 hour version of the "Turn Down for What" video with a ridiculous premise and some low-brow body humour thrown in.

I just read a review for a television show which said "It doesn't punch down to religion." It struck me as a completely irrational assertion. Is it even possible to *punch down* to one of the most powerful cultural institutions in every society across the planet?

I don't feel any particular need to abandon but my tweets there are getting fewer naturally as becomes increasingly populated with interesting folks. It's interesting to me to see how far Starbucks has aesthetically fallen (or perhaps deliberately changed) from premium cafe in the 90s and early 2000s to something that is only a colour scheme away from Dairy Queen or Burger King in both atmosphere and product line.
