Curious what it takes to create your own patterns for Lux Lavalier? It's easy, with the power of #Pixelblaze by ElectroMage!
We've added a tutorial that'll have you writing them in just a few lines, even if you've never written a single line of code!

@jasoncoon that is cool! This might be something to get for my son. He loves lights and electronics and is also starting to ask about coding.

@glassnerves I live chiptunes while I work. When I would run out of mobile data I would plug into my laptop and listen to this while I worked:

For anyone who needs to fill their timeline with more quality content here's a list of #makers and #electronics people I have come across on the Fediverse who have been active at some point in the last few months.

Apologies to anyone I've missed - please add yourselves in a comment!

@saxis glad you’re here! That’s a really good point. It’s a chance for me to reset on the negativity too. We are what we build!

@trinsec @freemo ok, thanks! I will think about this once this semester ends and get back to you.

Please let me know how to donate and thank you for making this instance available!

@trinsec @freemo I would happily donate! I do not own any crypto but id there is a non crypto way I would give a small amount!

I’m going back to school so I don’t know if I could be of much help with time.

What language is most of the development done in and how much time do moderators spend weekly? If you don’t mind sharing!

@Snoro I saw what I thought was a really good point about capitalism in general but that protest in particular.

We are taught that things like the painting is important but things like people’s suffering under climate change doesn’t make us outraged nearly as much.

@vern @peterdrake thanks! It’s a nice idea but definitely not critical. Everything else has worked perfectly so far and I’m enjoying the platform!

@trinsec @freemo Ok, I did see it render sporadically on the web. No big deal, I’m new here and wanted to give it a try!

Btw is there any way people can support qoto, financially or otherwise?

@vern looks like I need to figure out how to actually use it😂 still

@vern I will describe it poorly but it’s used for formatting text and math equations. I think it could be used for anything from writing a book to writing a math test online.

\frac{2}{3} (in case that actually works “\ frac {2} {3}”) without any spaces would give you a really nice formatting of 2/3.

My favorite thing about so far is that there is inline support for LaTeX. Cannot wait to try it as I have been trying to learn it as much as possible in my Calc 1 course.

“Inline math Latex support - Use \ ( and \ ) for inline LaTeX, and \ [ and \ ] for display mode.”

Today is answering press inquiries, helping old users get back into their accounts, and trying to make sure our infrastructure keeps up with the load.

@thanhnt Welcome! I still can’t get used to the “Toot” lol. But if that’s the only hangup I have it’s a pretty good platform!
