HELP I CANT DECIDE!!!!

Should I get a really plain and boring keyboard with awesome cherry MX green keys at $190 (I want super clicky and firm so this is by far the best and the only one I could find that has cherry mx green)..

Or do i settle for a close second keyboard with cherry MX Blue keys at half the price ($88).. functionally the same but RGB lighting and has a wheel i might be able to hack for something, but it just looks cooler but with less appealing keys and half the price...

I can decide!

@freemo
Do you only have one computer? If you've got that kinda money for a keyboard and it's something that's important to you, get both. Maybe turn one into a bluetooth keyboard.

@Diptchip I only have one computer that is hooked up and has any reason to use an external keyboard. My others are laptops or dont have monitors connected (compute cluster).. so not much need for both really. I will probably get the expensive one and call it a day

@freemo I thought people bought RGB keyboards to get laid but my girlfriend insists she has never cared about mine and thought I was weird for owning one. Every day I regret getting the cheaper RGB keyboard instead of the more expensive clicky one.

@swiley I think your girlfriend is just lying because she doesn't want you to know how shallow she is. The second she saw your keyboard her panties went fying and she knows it.

@freemo I use two WASD with MX greens. Definitely recommended

@rodolpho i wish the mx green werent so rare.. more clicky than the blues right? way more firm too?

@freemo Yes, definitely. Only downside is whenever I have to use someone else's keyboard they feel like cheap plastic toys.

@rodolpho Just got it in, you are the first message im responding with... love it.

Even though the keyboard itself looks generic and plain once its all lit up it actually looks pretty top notch. Nice and heavy good material and the keys feel amazing.

@freemo Personally, I'm all about the tactile sensation. I spend much more time typing than I do looking at the keyboard. Objectively, a satisfying keyboard clack provides a slight typing speed advantage.

@dalealleshouse yea thats why i went with the cherry mx green... ive had blue and they are alright, but green sounds more clicky and with more "texture" so going to go with that

@khird good find thanks, but i needed it next day which mean amazon mostly.

@freemo I actually don't think I've heard of a keyboard entirely using greens. My old Das Keyboard had green switches for the spacebar, and maybe the shift keys, but that was it.

@ademan Apparently they are pretty rare, I only saw one on all of amazon and another person linked me to one off of amazon.. otherwise I never saw such a thing... Pretty happy with my purchase though these green keys sound like a thousand angels tap dancing on the head of a pin.
