So apparently this place I'm getting breakfast from has an 8$ drink... and it wont even give me delusions of grandeur... I miss the good old days when 8$ would get get you drunk with an 8ball of coke and hookers tit to snort it off to spare. I guess I'll have to settle for this 8$ fermented cabbage kombucha drink instead.
@mur2501 depends, resteraunts have big markups.. but they can be as cheap as a 1$ at a resteraunt. Much cheaper if you buy in bulk for the home.
This resteraunt is unusually expensive (though I suspect this is handmade kambucha). Normally bottled drinks from a resteraunt are in the 2$ - 3$ range for a large one.

though in touristy high end places they will charge ₹20 or ₹30

I wouldn't buy water for $8. Maybe a mixed drink with decent liquor in it... Not a fan of kombucha however. I like boba tea though!
@freemo Ah the days when the government hadn't genetically modified our genes so that transesterificaton would occur in the liver to make a cardiotoxic substance. The days when one could buy all the ephedrine and pseudoephedrine that they wanted.
