I've collected some #Mastodon 🦣 #instances to help with the #TwitterMigration focused in #inclusion, #accesibility and #minorities. They look like safe spaces for most of us. I'd appreciate the boost and new recommendations to add to the list:
🔗🇬🇧 https://ableism.rip/about - space to fight ableism
🔗🇬🇧 https://disabled.social/about - for disabled people
🔗🇬🇧 https://neurodifferent.me/about - neurodiversity and neurominorities
🔗🇬🇧 https://iaccessibility.social/about - interest in assistive technology
🔗🇬🇧 https://blacktwitter.io/about - history and voices for black people
🔗🇬🇧 https://lgbt.io/about - for LGBT+ and allies
🔗🇬🇧 http://queer.party/about - queer-oriented instance
🔗🇬🇧 https://tech.lgbt/about - for tech workers, academics, students, and others interested in tech who are LGBTQIA+ or Allies
Please boost to reach more people!
@passis Boosting to help spread the word, Mastodon is really starting to come in to it's own in terms of equality and diversity, great stuff.
@zleap
NB tech.lgbt blocks qoto and encourages others to do so https://tech.lgbt/@FediThing/109405363344623224
@passis
Ok, well i am happy to boost information on other instances. I am on Qoto as it is a science basedinstance.
FYI, here is the full conttext behind that thread:
For the record I have no issue with any instance that wants to block for well informed reasons. I will say tech.lgbt is just generally a bad choice since they have been known to lie in this regard and generally are very toxic and mistreat many of their own members.
The other instances there are good choices though.
I fully back that standpoint. It is important to gather evidence, arguments and then weigh everything up before making a decision.
@freemo @zleap @bonifartius I'll keep that in mind! Thanks for the heads up!
